As 2024 comes to a close, so does the Low Impact Alliance. It is with immense gratitude that we announce the conclusion of this chapter. To our volunteer board, leadership team, activists, retailers, and brands who have supported our mission and programs promoting transparency and environmental responsibility within the running industry — your time, energy, and contributions have proven that collective effort can spark meaningful change.

While this marks the end of the Low Impact Alliance, we hope the spirit of our work lives on in the industry we’ve disrupted and the communities we’ve empowered – inspiring a new generation to step up, speak out, and continue driving progress towards a more sustainable future.
